Storytellers

Each Dove Faith Café episode begins with a faith story shared by a storyteller. Our storytellers are ordinary people like you and me. They typically have no special training in theology, but are eager to tell people how God has worked in their lives.

Each of us probably has dozens or hundreds of faith stories to tell. They are not all miraculous crossing the Red Sea-types of stories, although sometimes they are. Sometimes they are much quieter and more personal. It may be a story of feeling God’s presence when a loved one passes and knowing that they are now in God’s arms and experiencing the comfort that brings. It may be a story of surviving a personal tragedy and triumphing in the end – or not – but knowing that God was with us through it all. Faith stories are as varied as humanity. The thread that connects them all, though, is that God was with us and we are witnesses to that presence.

These are some of our storytellers. (The last 6 storytellers you see below are the six storytellers who shared their stories live on stage in 2021 and 2022. Included with them is our master storyteller, Rob Osterman. These are video snippets of their stories which are expanded in our first six episodes.)
